Certificate of Achievement in Professional Certified Trainer (PCT)
This course provides practical guidance, knowledge, and skills on how to design and deliver effective training programs. Participants will learn about the principles of learning, how to write and develop training session plans, materials, and assess learners’ performance and develop and use training techniques to meet the needs of participants.
Obtaining the PCT may qualify you to work as a part-time instructor at the Business Studies Division at the School of Continuing Education in addition to other requirements, qualifications and experience.
1. Bachelor Degree
2. Applicants must pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT).
3. Good knowledge of PC applications (Microsoft Office - Word and PowerPoint) and ability to use the internet (must have an active email address).

The sessions are conducted on Fridays (2:00 - 7:30 pm) and Saturdays (10:00 am - 3:30 pm) for 6 weeks.

- Learners are assessed throughout the program by tests, quizzes, assignments, projects or other means of evaluation. End-of-modules tests measure learners’ overall performance in the program. The final grade in each module is based on learners’ performance oncontinual assessment measures and the final test. Final program grade is NOT based on attendance, since in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy, learners must attend at least 75 percent of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
